About Us

Zoë Qu’an was started by three boss mamas at the height of the 2020 pandemic. Our combined expertise spans across management, operations, IT and marketing and comes to a combined 36 years of experience.

 

Our Mission: Zoë Qu’an is Life, Quality and Nurturing

We want to bring life, quality and nurturing to Africa’s fashion value chain.

 

Enter the Zoë Qu’an cape shawl.

We started with just one product, the cape shawl. We selected the most exciting Nigerian inspired fabrics and prints on the market. We felt that this simply elegant scarf would bring comfort in moving from yoga to coffee without a thought. Then the whole world shut down for six months.

Suddenly the concept of comfort became a matter of life and death. As we are sure you can relate, we couldn’t tell you how devastating it was to watch friends and loved ones literally slip away. We needed something to hold on to.

We moved forward with hope in our sights, uttering words of affirmation. Our cape shawl and our brand became more than just a product. We brought the concept of being elegantly wrapped in love and comfort to life. It gave us hope in the darkest of times and we continued to move forward as a brand with a meaning. It continues to inspire us.

 

How it started

We started in Nigeria at the height of the pandemic and learned how to get creative during lockdown. We were not the only ones. Lagos, where we are headquartered, also got creative with her beachfront and leisure offerings. We observed and catered to the market by adding beach coverups to our product line.

 

How it’s going

Today we offer and growing range of products, crafted to reach the highest quality attainable, elevating other women lead businesses and local entities. We are nurturers and resist the urge to quit on our suppliers. We have a presence in Dubai and will launch in Kenya in Q3 of 2022.

 

Our Future
